The Philosophy

Based in the heart of Hong Kong, Hollywood Road Stories is an artisan studio where beads are woven, stringed, and draped. We design for individuals who value slow fashion, rich textures, and wearable art—whether your personal aesthetic leans toward an understated minimalism or celebrates a bold, maximalist expression. 

The Design 

We pair semi-precious stones and upcycled glass beads with our signature magnetic clasps, locking seamlessly into place with a secure side notch—achieving elegance in a single, satisfying click. 

This thoughtful construction allows for effortless versatility. Built to adapt as you move, a necklace instantly wraps into a multi-layered bracelet, or connects with a second piece to form a long, striking silhouette. It is intuitive jewelry designed to evolve effortlessly with your wardrobe. 

The Heritage 

Named after the historic streets surrounding our neighborhood—Aberdeen, Shelley, Lyndhurst—each piece serves as a wearable map of Old Hong Kong. 

Our collections are crafted in limited batches or made-to-order right here in our Hollywood Road studio. These are intentional, tactile keepsakes—designed to carry a piece of the city with you, to share as a meaningful gift, or to anchor a carefully curated boutique collection anywhere in the world. 

About the Founder 

With a foundation in industrial design, my journey began in Hong Kong, creating collections for a New York–based fashion jewelry house. As both designer and buyer, I curated pieces for global labels, gaining a deep understanding of the technical craft of custom jewelry and the fast-moving rhythm of international fashion.

After a decade in the corporate world, I returned to the studio in 2025 with a renewed vision: to elevate the humble bead into a vessel for storytelling, moving beyond the noise of mass-produced trends. My collections blend the functional minimalism of my West Coast Canadian design education with the layered textures of my adopted neighborhoods in Hong Kong. Each piece is hand-selected from natural stones and minerals for their unique character and resonance, and made with care to stand the test of time.

Hollywood Road Stories grew from this vision—a studio dedicated to heritage, design integrity, and connection.
